Belize Children's Ministry & Construction Trip | October 6-13, 2012

This trip will be a combination of Children’s Ministry and Construction – so there is something for everyone! The children’s ministry will involve working with the Pomona Christian Community Church either in the community of Pomona or surrounding schools.
Our construction plan is to complete the second story of the Pomona Christian Community Church. The size of this structure is approximately 40’ X 30’. At the present time the block walls and the stairway are completed. On this trip we plan to:
• Form and pour the bond beam at the top of the walls.
• Build the roof trusses and erect the aluminum roof.
• Put in windows and doors.
• Run electrical – lights, fans, receptacles, breaker box.
• Run plumbing for bathroom.
• Painting
We hope to have a large team (20+) for this trip to completely finish the construction task and have an effective ministry in the community. All skills are needed (including “I’ll do whatever I can”)!
Estimated cost for this trip is $1,200. Deadline to sign up is July 1, 2012 with a non-refundable $200 deposit. Balance is due September 1st. Belize Quarterly Medical Mission Trip | October 24-28, 2012
Estimated cost of the trip is $1,100 for Cornerstone Members.
This includes airfare, hotel, meals, and transportation in Belize.
